Welcome to the First Nations outfitter Awashish Outdoor Adventures. For over 10 years, our Mistissini Cree family has remained true to its mission, which is to offer unparalleled fishing adventures and share our First Nations culture with our guests.

At Awashish Outdoor Adventures, nature and First Nations culture come together to provide adventure fishing enthusiasts with an exciting and authentic setting. Our estate is located off the shores of the Rupert River. This majestic and mythic river’s source is Lake Mistassini. About 700 km (434 mi) to the West, this river flows into James Bay. All of our fishing spots are situated on the Rupert River.
My wife Jeanette, our experienced First Nations adventure guides, and I await your visit. We guarantee that your expedition will exceed your expectations.
Our 2011 fishing season begins on June 1st and ends on September 7th.
