Awashish Outdoor Adventures
is the newest outfitting operation established in the year 2000.
We offer fully guided fishing excursions on the Rupert River which is
located 75 miles north of Mistissini Québec.
It is owned, founded and operated by a unique cree native family, who
have lived off this land from their hunting, fishing and trapping.
This territory has been passed on for the last 4 generations and it
has been well kept and preserved.
Most of these family relatives grew up practicing a wide variety
of traditional activities such as hunting, fishing, trapping and
traveling around this immense and wonderful haven.
The Awashish family invites you to come and share it's best fishing
experience on the Rupert River....where we will turn your ordinary
