The Fishing
The Rupert River’s waters consists adjoined lakes,
streams and river take interesting shapes & routes allowing us to
travel as you explore beautiful scenery and productive fishing
spots. This give us whole variety types of fishing.
 |
Lake Trout:
Average 10 Lbs. Trophy
25-30 Lbs.
Lakers
are the specialty of Rupert they’re mainly deep trolled from
mid-June to early September. Early June they are below rapids
feeding on the sturgeon or walleye eggs. |
 |
Walleye:
Average 2-3 Lbs. Trophy
8 Lbs.
Walleyes are generally not a problem
throughout the season Jigged, trolled or on a fly. Average
gets better Mid-August to the end of season.
|
 |
Speckled Trout:
Average
2 Lbs. Trophy 6
Lbs.
The best way to fish them when they start
heading their spawning site river on a fly or light casting.
You may also occasionally catch some very nice trophies
surface trolling early June.
|
 |
Northern Pike:
Average 10 Lbs. Trophy
25 Lbs.
Our favourite is playing with them with
topper while they’re still in shallow weedy bays seeing the
action of you lure being attacked by these monsters. They get
even more exciting on a big fly . Than they run deeper from
mid-July to the end of season.
